Every child has talent. Also the hundreds of thousands of Dutch children who grow up in an environment with high unemployment and few role models. That’s why JINC fights for a society where your background does not determine your future. A society in which every child has opportunities.
To achieve this, the JINC program helps children from 8 to 16 years of age to get a good start on the labor market. The program introduces them to all kinds of professions, they discover which work suits their talents and they learn how to apply for a job. Thanks to JINC, more than 65,000 elementary school and secondary school pupils have the opportunity to grow every year.
Job application lessons:
Our CFO Thom van Egmond and Human Resources Director Maarten Horbach are going to participate in the JINC program to give back to the community and this great initiatief. They are going to give job application lessons at school.
Introducing yourself, making eye contact, asking questions. It’s as simple as that, but you have to know it. During the Job Application lessons, young people learn how to impress a potential boss.
There are no better people to find than Thom and Maarten ;
